Sc. 01 · the brief
The studio behind the product needed a room.
Brandolog is the public face: the builder people sign up to. The studio that made it had no address of its own. CULT is that address: a site that takes work by application and says plainly what we do. We transform companies into cults.
Sc. 02 · what we built
Every room opens with its own name.
Each room's title is one word transmitted as a field of dither (SERVICES, DOSSIER, ИЗПОВЕД) with no typeset headline under it. Services are a rack of machined units, prices a spec sheet. Behind them sits a drawer of 30 glyphs, the only ornament the site allows.
Sc. 03 · how we built it
Every glyph is maths, checked in a terminal.
The vocabulary (spirals, eyes, sigils, doors) is one file of pure functions: no images, no icon font, no illustrator. When the browser preview kept freezing, we wrote a tool that prints any glyph as ASCII in the terminal; six shapes were redrawn there before they shipped. Each page keeps both languages in the same file, so a translation is never far from its original.
Sc. 04 · the detail
The spiral says CULT, never $CULT.
The footer winds the name outward along an Archimedean spiral and re-screens it every frame. With a dollar sign in front, the dither fused the two into SCULT, so the dollar went. The seal is the same winding: a C inside 1.3 turns of the spiral, its tail breaking up into squares.
Sc. 05 · where it stands
Live, sixteen versions in, still changing.
Built from July 2026 and live at cultconsult.co, now on its sixteenth version. It has been through more headline typefaces than it will admit to; what has survived every version is the dither. The newest room is these case files: 21 projects, three of them sealed.
